I recently had the privilege of photographing Miracle baby Isaac for the Ttofa family. I ran this session a little different to how I used to run sessions. Primarily I included a home photography shoot as well as a studio photography session.
The reason I decided to do both was simply because I was sitting one day thinking about how fast my kids have grown up.I had been setting trying to remember the countless hours spent lying on my bed just staring at them with amazement while they sleep, staring into those big blue innocent eyes. I often remembered thinking how blessed I am and that this tiny little baby grew inside me, the many hours spent rocking them to sleep in my rocking chair singing them lullaby’s; sitting on the couch telling them all sorts of stories. All I wanted to do was freeze those moments forever and never forget how I felt at that time.
I still remember how I felt at that time but I cant remember exactly what that exact moment looked like. Memories have a tend to fade over years, and that’s were I thought it would have been great if I had someone capture those memories for me with my beautiful baby’s, thats when the penny dropped, “the light switch went on” and I thought I could be giving that beautiful gift to my beautiful customers , mums just like me. To have and treasure for years to come and even share those memories with thier children and family members. Which unfortunately I can only try describe those time to my own children and not be able to show them actual photographs, wouldn’t that make an amazing sweet bed time story,.
